Osheaga is a two-day annually fete in Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau offering an eclectic roster of performers, including stadium rockers, local troubadours, electro pop provocateurs, and a host of other acts. For a brief stint, Osheaga took place on the same weekend as Toronto’s Virgin Festival, with the two events leeching acts from one another. However, last year Osheaga moved up in the calendar, regaining its independence and novelty in the process. This time around, it happens on August long weekend. The stacked docket traipses the globe for a curious mix of headliners.
