In the way that French filtered house stormed dancefloors in the late '90s, influencing everything in its path, so now the disco punk of Parisian label Ed Banger has come to dominate today's dance scene. Former Daft Punk manager Pedro Winter a.k.a. Busy P is at the helm, but the duo of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Auge, a.k.a. Justice, have led the charge. They came together in 2003 and have been wreaking sonic havoc ever since. Their super-catchy remix of Simian's “Never Be Alone” became a club anthem and led to Justice remixes being commissioned by everyone from DFA 1979 and Daft Punk to Britney Spears.
